Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
